Woke up like normal. 7:40am. Got the kids up and out the door by 8:05 went back to bed until 8:50am. Left for work. Got into the car and the wind slammed my door shut. On my leg. Shit hurt. Im not going to lie. On ramp was closed again so i had to drive to the other one. Got to work and of course we are short staffed. See my company doesnt allow overtime. So if u stay you have to cut hours to keep you under that 40hrs. They also schedule us 45 hrs minus 1hr lunches so we get 40 hours paid. So if someone calls in you cant call anyone else in to cover. Unless they are willing to give up some hours. Which normally they wont because you will just end up short staffed again. Work went fine. Super busy but my guess is because its thursday and it was only in the 60's vs the 80 degree weather. So people dont mind being inside. I ended up staying 40 mins late. I had the hours due to me going home early tuesday. Picked up jordan from daycare. Him and the daycare decided to play a trick and say he wasnt there. Which she kinda messed up cuz she said it while she was handing me the sign out papers. Then we went to get desirea from her fathers house. Which they werent there( she was sent home sick) so i had to drive to the library they were at. Picked her up just for her to tell me she left her bag and phone at her fathers. So i had to drive back to his place and get her stuff. Took them home got upstairs to realize i forgot to pay the daycare( got distracted by the prank) and i forgot to atop at the store to grab rashed something. So i went back out to the store. Daycare can wait until saturday.
I signed up for a new product testing service. Its for pets and through amazon. I receive an email describing the item. Then i email back if i want to do it. They then send me money to cover the cost of the item via paypal. I buy the item and then send them the order number. The money they send does not cover shipping. So i signed up for a 30 day trial of amazon prime. Or else i would have to pay $8 shipping and i only get paid $5 after i write my review so that would be a loss. So now i have amazon prime for like 28 more days( signed up 2 days ago received item today) so i start checking it out. And so far im not a fan. Its not free shipping on everything. All the items i would normally buy are part of amazon pantry( which is an additional $5/month) and you have to have at least $40 worth. Amazon prime does give you access to some cheaper items. But compared to walmart.com they still cost more. My $23 bag of dogfood which i have a $5 coupon for was $34. Now they did send me a $10 off coupon for dogfood. But i opted to get a $14 bag instead. And paid $4 for 15.5lbs. I also get an email that for sigbing up i get $5/$10 purchase but it wont show up in my cart. So still needing a min. Only select items qualify for free shipping and the prices are more then walmart so far i dont plan to keep it. Now they also have a book service as well as music im going to look into that. Maybe that will make it worth it. Also the pantry free shipping is $5 but shipping is $8 so i wont be doing that because i would at most do 1 order a month so the $3 isnt worth it because 1 month and no order will cost me the savings. Now as far as the free product testing i do get paid for that. I dont know how many i will do a month but say this month i will make $5 after the $13/ month membership its like getting it for $8/ month which is a better deal. Anly down side so far to the review program is you cant pay with paypal so i had to use another card instead of the money they sent
Update: so the music is $7.99/ month with prime and no seletion of books for kids. Hopefully the reviews will be plenty enough to cover the $13. Im so disappointed. Walmart is definantly better then amazon so far. Their grocery min is only $20 and you can just do regular pick up with no min unless you want fresh produce meat or dairy.( basically anything cold)
