Starburst Jellybeans ice cream flavor review

So i came across these starburst ice cream flavor jellybeans at walmart. Everyone had the nasty face when they saw them but I figured I'd give them a try.

Flavors
Strawberry
Orange sherbet
Red raspberry
Lemon sherbet

So reading the flavors i feel like they could have done more ice cream flavors instead of sherbets but they must want to stick to what the usual flavors they produce. Which is exactly what they did. These jelly beans taste the same at the regular strawberry orange raspberry and lemon. So while they are still good I fail to see the point of calling them ice cream flavors.

Ok so in this Folgers Review kit I received:

Now Folgers is defiantly one of my favorite coffees to make in my Keurig. And I was stoked to see the vanilla biscotti. Even company that came over saw the vanilla biscotti immediately asked if they can make a cup. I have had the classic roast and vanilla biscotti before but never the 1/2 caff or black silk. Which were both still good coffee. I'm not a fan of dark roast coffee and need all the caffeine I can get so those 2, I will most likely never buy. I love that with the vanilla biscotti I dont have to add as much creamer as usual, in fact I can just add milk and sugar and still get flavored coffee. Were as the classic roast I use when I want to use one of my flavored creamers as well. 

So I received 2 boxes of Zing 40 ct stevia sweetener to review. I use real sugar in everything I make. The only thing that I get with no real sugar is my diet soda. (and probably a few other pre-made items that I'm unaware use sugar substitutes.) I love that Zing is zero calories and made from the stevia plant vs chemically made. And although this is distributed by domino foods it taste nothing like real sugar. I started out making the mistake of trying it alone. Nasty doesn't even begin to describe it. It was very bitter in the beginning but the got sweeter after about a minute. After trying it in tea I found that it wasn't as bad, but be doesn't exactly taste like sugar and since I normally use honey in  my tea I see me donating the rest of the samples .

Redbox Review : The Gambler

My Thoughts: I was not at all impressed with this video. The acting was decent, and although eventful I found the movie idea a bit over played. I found it hard to stay engaged with the movie.

Redbox Review : Selma

 

Ok so the kids and I was super excited to watch this movie.
Martin Luther King is actually one of the people in history that my kids look up to so I let them watch this movie with me. Although not surprising it wasn't able to hold their attention for the whole movie. (which for  6 & 7 year olds is not surprising)
What is surprising to me is that entertaining it was to me in the beginning I fell asleep 3 times and still have not finished the movie :( I am so disappointed in my self. I think the first time I was just really tired. and then the 2nd and 3rd was a mix between already seeing the first half and being tired. I may try to watch it again when I am not too tire. But from what I did see I will give it the following ratings.

Trying out a new Reward site

So I really only do the super easy stuff on reward sites so I tend to run through the limit on points for the easy stuff per day.. so I then go to the next reward site. well I have been hearing a lot of good stuff about instagc and decided to try it out.. you get 10points for signing up and the lowest payout is $1 which is 100pts. Swagbucks - the easiest site to earn gift cards

I joined Swagbucks about a year ago and have already earned about $200 worth of gift cards. With all the sites I have done this one is by far the easiest and fastest one to do to get your gift cards.

You only need a min. of 450sb (swagbucks) to get a $5 amazon gift card. Other gift cards are available and start at 500sb for a $5 gift card for places like target and walmart. So no having to get to $100 before you see your money.

I'm not a big fan of surveys because you spend 10 mins answering questions just to be told you dont qualify to finish So I don't do the surveys offered on swagbucks but they are offered.

I make my points by doing the polls, watching videos, viewing websites, shopping online and playing games. You also receive bonus points for reaching the daily goal which usually starts out at 30sb/day then if you get that you can earn a 2nd bonus for getting like 90sb/day.

With the videos and websites I actually run that while doing other things like watching tv.

Twin Clippers vs. Klip2Save. Coupon Clipping Services

I used to just go to the store and fork out the $2.25 for a newspaper when ever I wanted the coupons. but for those weeks where I would want to put 6, 8 or sometimes more it was just too much. I would spend $20-$30 on coupons that there was a chance I may not use. now granted the coupons would cause me to save more then I spent it was just still a pretty big bill and that would only be for 1 week. Where I live if you bought 6 newspapers every week you would spend $54 a month on 24 newspapers. So I decided to go online and find clipping services to help bring that bill down. After research and buying a pre-paid card to pay for the items I decided to test 2 sites.

Klip2Save

So first we will start with Klip2Save.
Coupon go up - Usually the Wednesday before, some may not go up until Saturday. So you can actually order the Wednesday before and possibly get before the Sunday paper are out.

Individual coupons -  go by a base pricing point. Every $1 the coupon is worth they charge $.08. So a $2 coupon is $.16 $4 coupon will be $.32.

Whole Inserts - They don't offer. So if there is a lot of coupons in that insert you would like you could be paying more then just going and buying the paper yourself.

Shipping - USPS they have a 2-10day $1 option (the one I use) 2-10day $6 option(don't get why they offer this when the $1 option is the same) and finally a 1-2day option $20(which in my opinion is way too much and I've gotten the $1 in usually 2-4 days. But if you  need the coupons right away and its a group of people placing 1 order it may be worth it.

Coupons go up - Coupons generally go up about Thursday or Friday.

Individual Coupons - Prices vary from $.06-$.18 but the pattern seems unclear, but over all I would say that the coupons for the most part are cheaper then Klip2Save.

Whole Inserts - This is why I love the site. smartsource and redplum whole inserts retail for $.80 each and the p&g insert is $1 each. So if you want a good amount of coupons from that insert you can just purchase the whole insert and save you money. (which is what I did this past weekend.)

Shipping - USPS $1 flat rate shipping. I ordered on friday and received the coupons by Monday (which given this was the 4th of july weekend that is really fast) They now also offer a 2 day express shipping for $6.

So over all these 2 rate about the same. But I would choose Twin Clippers because they offer whole inserts.

I went for the monster high skirts but the smallest size is a 6/7 and my daughter is 4 going on 5 and shes small. so I passed on that but I did find a barbie jam with me guitar on clearance for $23.

Orbit for Kids Gum Review

New Orbit for Kids Gum has hit the stores and I have tried both Strawberry Banana and Original Bubble Gum. The Strawberry Banana gum tasted mostly like Strawberry. You could smell the banana but there really wasn't much banana flavor to it. The Original Bubble Gum tasted the same as bubble mint with not such a strong mint flavor. The Strawberry Banana one was kind of hard to chew. The expiration was Nov. 2013 so there was plenty of time before it expires, while the Original Bubble Gum flavor was much better. Retail price is the same as other orbit gum packs. I got mine on a bogo sale at Rite Aid so I paid about $.69 per pack after tax. Over all I would give Orbit for kids a 4/5. 

Snickers Triple Chocolate Candy Bar Review

New version of snickers has recently appeared in stores. I have only seen them as the 2 to go size. Retail price is in the $1.50-$2.00 range depending on where you go. I purchased this as a bogo deal at Rite Aid so   I paid roughly $1.04 after tax per bar. Now if you absolutely love chocolate then this is the candy for you, but it wasn't so much for me. I love chocolate but not to this extend. It has chocolate nougat, chocolate cover and chocolate caramel with peanuts. The chocolate nougat portion tastes a little off as well as the caramel. If snickers wanted to make a 3x chocolate candy bar they should of made that and left out the mixed flavoring. I give this candy bar a score of 2/5.
